1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GOJO platform, including the web application, mobile application, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by GOJO ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Description of Service

GOJO is a multi-tenant compound and HOA (Homeowners Association) management platform designed for Ethiopian residential communities. The platform provides tools for:

• Resident account management and directory services
• Billing, charge management, and payment tracking
• Financial reporting and expense management
• Staff and payroll management
• Announcements and community communications
• Incident reporting and maintenance tracking
• Push notifications and real-time alerts
• Audit logging and compliance tracking

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Accounts are provisioned by your compound or HOA administrator. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or any systems connected to the Services
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent payment information or incident reports
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Services
• Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm other residents, staff, or administrators
• Share your login credentials with unauthorized persons

5. Payments and Billing

GOJO facilitates the tracking and verification of payments for compound charges, HOA dues, maintenance fees, utilities, penalties, and other obligations as configured by your compound administrator.

All payment records, receipts, and financial transactions are subject to audit logging. Payment submissions are final once verified and approved by the compound administrator. Partial payments are not supported unless explicitly enabled by the administrator.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Services, you consent to our use of product telemetry and analytics tools to monitor system performance and improve user experience, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

Each compound operates as a separate tenant within the platform. Your data is isolated within your compound's tenant and is not accessible to other compounds or their administrators.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, content, trademarks, and other intellectual property, are owned by GOJO. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Services without our prior written consent.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GOJO and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Services.

GOJO is not responsible for decisions made by compound administrators regarding billing amounts, penalties, or enforcement actions facilitated through the platform.

10. Account Termination

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the in-app settings, via our account deletion page, or by contacting support@gojo.properties.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, at the request of your compound administrator, or if required by law. Financial records and audit logs may be retained after account deletion as required for compliance and accounting purposes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and becomes effective when published on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
