GOJO is a resident and compound management platform used to manage accounts, charges, receipts, announcements, incident reports, voting, and operational notifications for residential communities.
This Privacy Policy explains how GOJO processes personal information when you use our mobile application, resident portal, and related services (the "Services").
To operate GOJO, we collect information required to identify residents, manage compound operations, verify payments, deliver notifications, and maintain service security.
The GOJO app can use device-level biometric authentication, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometrics, to authorize sensitive actions like payments and profile-security changes.
Important:Your biometric data is processed entirely on your physical device using the operating system's native security APIs. GOJO does not collect, transmit, or store your fingerprint or facial biometric templates on our servers.
GOJO supports resident billing and payment confirmation for real-world obligations such as HOA or compound charges, rent, maintenance fees, penalties, and utilities where enabled by the community using the platform.
Depending on the configured payment flow, GOJO may store payment references, receipt numbers, provider or bank names, manual verification data, settlement status, approval records, and receipts.
GOJO does not intentionally store full card numbers, raw banking passwords, or other full financial credentials on its servers.
We use your information to operate the Services, fulfill obligations between residents and the communities using GOJO, and maintain security and compliance.
Internal sharing: Relevant account, property, billing, maintenance, incident, and communication information may be visible to authorized property managers, HOA or compound administrators, staff members, and platform administrators only where necessary to operate the Services.
Third-party providers: We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate GOJO, such as cloud hosting providers, SMS or OTP providers, push notification providers, payment or payment-verification providers, product analytics providers (like PostHog), and monitoring or crash-reporting tools. These providers process data only to provide services for GOJO.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, nor do we use it for targeted external advertising.
If you enable push notifications, GOJO stores device push tokens so it can deliver announcements, incident updates, payment updates, security alerts, and other system notices to your devices.
You can disable push notifications from your device settings or from supported in-app controls. Disabling notifications prevents future push delivery, but historical notification records may still remain in your account inbox or platform audit history.
To improve the GOJO platform, we use product telemetry and analytics tools, such as PostHog, to understand how residents and administrators interact with our Services. This includes tracking feature usage, page views, error rates, and user flows to identify areas where the app can be optimized or made easier to use.
Privacy First: We configure our analytics tools to focus strictly on behavioral trends and system performance. We do not send sensitive personal or financial information (such as passwords, exact payment amounts, or detailed personal messages) to our analytics providers.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data where applicable. We keep personal data while your account is active or while needed to provide the Services. Some records must be retained longer for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution reasons.
In particular, billing records, receipts, payment history, approval logs, audit logs, and security records may remain retained even after account deletion where the law, internal controls, or legitimate operational obligations require it.
Account deletion methods: We provide multiple ways to request deletion of your account and associated personal data:
What happens when you delete your account: Upon a successful deletion request, active sessions are terminated, device push tokens are removed, and the account is disabled or soft-deleted so it is no longer available for normal use. Historical operational and financial records may still be retained in secured systems where required for compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, auditing, or dispute handling.
GOJO is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it where required.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and becomes effective when published on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
